"Allow me to make your Dream Irish Wedding come True" |
 |
This beautiful chapel, situated in the National Park, approximately 35 miles west of Cork City, can
be the venue for your Dream Irish Wedding.
St. Finbarr's Chapel was built in 1900 on an island in the middle of a lake. It is set amongst magnificent mountain
scenery with brooding cliffs rising high above dark waters and can be reached by walking across the artificial causeway
that connects it to the mainland.
The island was once the site of the hermitage of St. Finbarr, Patron Saint of Cork City, who lived here circa 6th century.
The ruins of the cells and the charming Oratory still remain and can be visited. The lake itself is the source of
the River Lee, Cork's famous river. The forestry and the Chapel lend themselves as beautiful natural backdrops for
your Wedding Photographs.
Say the word and allow me to make your Dream Irish Wedding come True. See my
co-ordination page to see what I can arrange for you. |
